Some weeks in the marketplace were more profitable than others. Today was one Sylvia wondered if it wouldn’t have been better to have just stayed home. By the last hour before vendors were expected to start packing their items up, she and Obmuj had barely made enough money to buy the thread her mother needed. Sylvia hated slow business because slow business also meant a very long and dull day. Obmuj himself seemed to have fallen victim to boredom, finally curling up and taking a nap on top of the booth. This unfortunately caused the few customers Sylvia actually had to inquire how much she wanted for the dead monkey.
